Every year typically on the Wednesday evening after the 3rd A-meet of the season, each of the 18 divisions comprising the NVSL holds a Divisional Relay Carnival at one of the division’s pools. For 2023 the Divisional Relay Carnivals will be held on June 28th.

All age groups, boys and girls, send one freestyle relay team (AKA the “freelay” - all four swimmers swim freestyle) and one medley relay team (different swimmers swim back, breast, fly and free in that order) and each team also sends boys and girls mixed age freestyle relays. Only relays are swum at the Relay Carnival.

Volunteers: We need a good team of volunteers. This is an intrasquad meet; our team must provide ALL volunteers, including 3 clerks of course, 4 marshals, and 18 timers! This is in addition to behind -the-scenes positions (Referee, starter, stroke and turn, announcer, and awards). If your child is swimming, please plan on volunteering and signing up beforehand .The meet should be shorter than usu al because we won't have swimmers from another team.
